After a good friend sent me a video of bubble football being played in Scandinavia when the activity was first born, she declared how fun it looked. I agreed! I was also looking for a business to start up at the time and bubble football ticked all the boxes for me. There was no doubt it was great fun, not only to play and also watch, but its appeal would be inclusive through gender, age and interest. Its just great fun, ok!
After having a football scholarship in America and finishing my University studies in sports education, it was time to come out of 10 years of working in the Leisure industry. I was now ready to go about starting the business.
Since the first bubble was bounced in the Spring of 2014 during a practice session in a park in Solihull, we have grown to putting on 42 individual sessions in the 2 months of June and July 2017. There was no "rule book" on how bubble football should be delivered. Along with Shaun (see below) we have used our teaching and sport education knowledge to use the vehicle of bubble football to deliver the most fun possible and where possible, educational too. Playing football in the bubbles is just the tip of the iceberg.
I love the variety of each session, going from one location hosting a 11th birthday, to travelling around the region to a stag do, on to English languge schools and music festivals. I enjoy getting to know the customers and understanding what kind of session they are looking for. We have had some great feedback so far!
Shaun Braddock-Bould
Shaun takes many of our sessions and has been with us from the start. He has an impressive C.V. of working with children and adults within sport and physical exercise. Over the last 15 years Shaun has had roles as a P.E. Teacher, Head of Sport at an American Summer camp, Gym manager, and Shrewsbury Town F.C. Strength and Conditioning coach.
His sessions are always very organised, he is full of ideas and comes up with lots of our new games in the bubbles. Always pro-active, ready to turn the session upside down, Shaun is guaranteed to make the session lots of fun. Shaun always gets great reviews, a few of them taken from our Facebook page are here:
Wayne Walton: Cant thank Shaun enough for all his help in sorting this out and making it a great morning of fun for all the girls would highly recommend this to anyone many thanks from Worthen under 12 girls.

Rachel Weston
Rachel supports us a lot from behind the scenes and when the public is lucky they will get to see her as she helps us out at the festivals and fairs we attend in the Summer. Rachel's full time job is as a Senior Occupational Therapist and she is a very patient and a calming influence at the busy community events we attend! She is at her best with us when chatting to parents and their little ones answering any questions before they climb in side the bubbles for their turn!
